A Hell of a Ride: The Gokteik Viaduct.
The Lashio Mail from Mandalay creeps across the Gokteik Viaduct at a snails pace. The Steel structure moans, groans and twists under the weight of the passing train. An unforgettable ride. Built in 1903 by the Pennsylvania Steel co. It enabled the British occupiers to rob the Burmese of their natural resources at a much quicker pace...Today, it's a must do for visitors invading the once secluded land...
